Scar Care Self Touch- In-Person Masked Workshop

This poster shows a couple of scars, the masked face of workshop facilitator Kori Doty and information about 2 inperson scar care workshops happening in November 2025
This small group (max 10), in-person, masked workshop is being held at Heart & Hands clinic space. Please wear an N95 or KN95 or equivalent respirator style mask or bring some cash to get one when you arrive.

This session uses hands-on self touch techniques to support the body in scar recovery. It is open to adults (+18) of all genders with any scars over 6 weeks old.

The teacher, Kori Doty, of Soft Touch Bodies has trained at the Institute for Somatic Sex Education, and has been a teacher of “Pleasure (your) Chest” an online class for folks who have had top surgery since 2023. They have done many hours of scar care study and self touch on their own body since their experiences of gender surgeries resulted in scarring complications. They have worked professionally offering somatic body work since 2024.

The tickets are sliding scale 10-50$. Please follow payment links to pay the amount you feel is appropriate considering your financial privilege.
